Our Story
At Meow and Paw, we believe great design should reach every corner of your home, including the spaces your cat calls their own.
Founded by Olivia and Paul, two cat parents based in Sydney, with a love for modern interiors. Meow and Paw brings together a curated collection of cat furniture from independent design studios, chosen on a single belief: that the pieces made for our cats can be just as beautiful as everything else we live with.
Started Because of Our Cats
We share our home with four cats: Icy (our 5 year old Bengal and the bravest little fighter we know), Snowy (a 3 year old Ragdoll boy who is all floof and jumps on and scratches absolutely everything), Stormy (a 5 year old British Shorthair girl with refined and very particular tastes), and Daisy (a 3 year old Ragdoll, shy but full of spice). They are the reason for everything we do, and honestly the toughest product testers we could ask for. But it was Icy who started it all.
Meow and Paw was founded to bridge that gap.

Before she was even two years old, Icy had already been through two major surgeries. A genetic condition meant the vets had to remove half of her stomach, and even now, when it flares up, she needs steroid injections to keep her comfortable.
Watching her go through all of that changed the way we saw everything we brought into our home. If Icy was going to spend her life fighting her own body, then the things we could control, her comfort, her space, the pieces she used every single day, had to be the best we could possibly give her.
So we went looking, and we kept hitting the same walls. Carpeted towers stained the moment she was sick or clawed at them, and once one section was ruined, the whole tower had to go. Scratchers flaked everywhere and barely lasted a year. Cat beds were flimsy or badly made, the kind we didn't actually want in the house.
Frustrated by how little was out there, we decided to bring it together ourselves.
What We Believe
Meow and Paw is a curated collection from the design studios who had already solved these problems, so we could give our cats the best and give other cat owners a place to find the same. Every piece we carry is something we have found, loved, and would happily live with ourselves, because that is exactly where it started.
Living with cats should feel seamless. The spaces we share should feel thoughtful for both human and cat, comfortable to live in and beautiful to look at, designed for everyday life together.
Because every cat deserves the best. Especially the ones fighting a little harder than most.
With love,
Olivia and Paul
